
DR. RON JACOBS Dr. Jacobs graduated from the University of Toronto, Scarborough College Campus with a B.Sc. Degree in 1970. He then entered the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto and graduated with a D.D.S. Degree in 1974. After graduatiing, Dr. Jacobs associated in an east end Toronto dental practice for one year. He then opened up his own office in the Beaches area of Toronto and practiced there for 20 years. Recently, he moved his Beaches practice into a large group office in northeast Toronto with five other doctors. He also practices in a central downtown Toronto location. His interests lie mainly in the areas of Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Jacobs has been a member of many continuing education groups and has been a member of the Toronto Implant Study Club and the Ontario Study Club for Osseointegration for the last 5 years. Dr. Jacobs also served as the president of OSCO in 2000/2001. |

DR. MURRAY ARLIN Dr. Arlin received his D.D.S. at McGill University, Montreal, in 1977, his Diploma in Periodontics at the University of Toronto in 1980 and his Fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists in Canada in 1983. Dr. Arlin has taught at the Univeristy of Toronto at the undergraduate and post graduate levels. He has presented numerous seminar lectures and has authored may articles in leading Dental Journals. Dr. Arlin carries on a full-time private practice in Weston. Ontario limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentisty. |

An active proponent and practitioner of dental implant treatment, Dr. Pulec focuses his practice on implant dentistry. In addition to placing and restoring dental implants on a daily basis, Dr. Pulec pioneers new techniques in dental implant placements and provides continuing education to other dentists. A keen painter and sculptor in his spare time, Dr. Pulec combines his artistic talents with his medical skills in aiming to provide the best possible results for his patients. "Implants not only replace missing teeth, they keep facial bones from shrinking and they minimize signs of aging.
Dr. Pulec graduated from the University of Toronto in 1985 in the Doctor of Dental Surgery program and has been working as a general practitioner with dental implants since 1987. He holds the status of both "Fellow" and "Diplomate" in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the latter of which is the highest level of achievement possible in this international dental implant organization. He is also a member of numerous dental implant study clubs and organizations, including the Ontario Study Club for Osseointegration, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and The Canadian Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Pulec is president of The Ontario Implant Study Club and administrator of his Dental Implant Surgical and Prosthetic Centre in Toronto. He has participated in design and development projects for dental implant treatment and he actively produces ongoing educational materials for patients and colleagues. "There needs to be more public education and increased awareness about this form of treatment." One of Dr. Pulec's educational works on dental implant treatment is part of the permanent human parts display at the Ontario Science Centre. He has produced an educational, 3-D interactive CD-ROM disk on implant therapy.
Dr. Pulec is the founder of Dental Health Centres and strives to improve the quality of life for his patients.
