| CHOOSING A DENTIST Dr. Simon Pong received his degree in Dentistry from the University of Western Ontario in 1983 & has been practicing in Oakville since 1992. Dr. Pong has been involved in post graduate continuing education & treating patients in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics & dental implants since 1987 in addition to general family dentistry.
Dr.Pong is a member in good standing in both the Canadian Dental & Ontario Dental Associations. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr.Pong is the Past- President of the Rotary Club of Oakville West. He resides in Oakville with his wife & three children.
Services Provided :
Diagnostics- Complete examinations, x-rays, laser cavity detection, periodiontal screening, consultations with the aid of the intra-oral camera.
Endodontics - Root canal therapy and root surgery.
Oral Surgery/Oral Pathology - The identification and removal of teeth or tissues, including wisdom tooth removal.
Orthodontics - Braces and orthodontic appliances for adults & children, including clear braces(invisalign)& ceramic braces.
Periodontics - Treatment & prevention of gum disease including perodontal scaling.
Care of Your Children - Games room for kids, baby toys. We see children starting from 2 years of age. Fillings done with air abrasion instead of the dental drill.Caring health professionals provide a positive environment.
Prosthodontics - Full mouth rehabilitation including dental implants & bone grafts.
Prevention- Professional Hygiene services to clean & whiten the teeth, sealants, fluoride treatments & oral hygiene counselling.
Esthetic Enhancements- Bonding, veneers, crowns, space closure, teeth whitening.
General Dentistry- Removal of silver amalgam fillings, placement of white composite fillings.
Sedation- Oral Sedation & Nitrous Oxide sedation is available.

Your initial visit to our office is the most important in determining your dental health needs. It involves:

An introduction to our office & exceptional staff members.Our staff consists of Raquel& Dianna who will take care of scheduling your treatment needs, Kelly, Vanessa & Julie who are caring Dental Hygienist that will take care of your dental health with a gentle touch & Monica who works side by side with Dr.Pong to provide the best dental experience for you & your family.
2. A thorough review of your confidential medical & dental history by Dr.Pong
3. The opportunity to discuss any concerns related to your dental health as well as your dental needs & treatment expectations directly with Dr.Pong.
4.Dr.Pong & Monica will do a complete examination of your teeth, gums,and mouth including any necessary x-rays, photographs & impressions.
5.Same day consultation regarding the diagnosis & treatment recommendations.
6. Dianna will discuss dental fees & will provide estimates.
